The Christian County Clerk's Office Election Department will be needing Election Officers to work in the 2022 May and General Elections.  Election Officers do get paid for working that day and for the classes that they will have to attend prior to Election Day.  Elections Officers must be registered to vote in Christian County, KY.  Voters can either call our office at (270) 887-4107 ext 4, to request and application be sent to them or they can go to and click on KY Needs Poll Workers and fill out the online form and an email will be forwarded to our office and we will then mail out an application to you.  Our office usually mails out the Applications around the end of February early March.  We are hoping to have an application on this website for you to download also.

Absentee Voting

  1. Under certain conditions, if you are unable to go to the polls to vote on election day, you may request an absentee ballot from the Christian County Clerk's office and vote by mail. Application must be made "at least (7) days prior to the date of the election".
  2. We will be having In House Absentee Voting, however as of 10/29/2021 the dates and locations have not been set.

Poll Hours

Polls open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. on Election Day.  Questions about voting may be answered by calling (270) 887-4107 ext. 4.
