Marriage License Application

Effective Monday March 1, 2021
The Christian County Clerk's Office will be opening back up to the public.  Our office will still be following social distancing guidelines and only a limited amount of customers will be allowed in the building at one time.  There will be only
one entrance and that is the door located at the FRONT of the Courthouse facing Main Street.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN ENTERING THE BUILDING AND A DEPUTY WILL BE AT THE DOOR TO CHECK TEMPS.  This is for the safety of the public and our employees.

For a Marriage License please contact our office at (270) 887-4107 ext. 4, so that we can set up an appointment time for you to come in.  There are no walk-ins at this time.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
Please contact our office @ (270) 887-4107 ext. 4 to set up your appointment for your Marriage License first.  Once you have set up the appointment the following steps are next:
Please submit the marriage license application at least 24 hours before your appointment time.
Click (MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION) to submit your marriage license application.
The day of the appointment you will need to be here a little before your appointment and let the sheriff's deputy at the front door know that you are here to pick up your marriage license and they will point you in the direction of our office.  The office space is small so we ask that the Bride & Groom only come up.  You will need your Driver's License and $50.00 cash or check to pick up the license.  You will also need to wear your mask while in the building.
