Location: Christian County, Kentucky
Job Type: Part Time
Job Description: Christian County Government is seeking a dedicated and experienced Solid Waste Coordinator. The Solid Waste Coordinator directs the implementation for the County’s solid waste management plan and enforces the policies of Fiscal Court.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating collection, disposal and recycling and other solid waste services
  • Enforcing County Solid Waste Ordinances
  • Coordinating waste collection events
  • Overseeing waste collection throughout the County
  • Preparing reports and maintaining records related to waste management activities
  • Responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to waste disposal
  • Providing information to the public on solid waste issues and activities
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees and the community

Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Kentucky Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of waste management regulations and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
