Elections
Election Officer Information
As we head into the New Year we will be getting ready for our May 2023 Primary Election. This election will be the Governors Race. We will be ready to take Election Officer Applications starting in March. Once the new applications are created and we have a day selected for training, the application will be posted on the website. We hope that the voters in Christian County will be as eager and willing to work this election as they were to work the last one.
As most of you know, the pay for working the election is $300.00, in order to work you must attend the training class that will take place a week before the election. If you do not show at the class you can not work the election. The classes will be a little different than they were in November, but hopefully for the Election Officer it will be more informative. If you would like to receive the application by mail please call our office at (270) 887-4105 ext. 4.
